Requirements:
Certificates Needed:
Baptism Certificate
First Holy Communion Certificate
Confirmation Certificate (The date for Mass cannot be set without all certificates)
The Quinceañera Masses are on Saturdays at 12pm or 2pm and are celebrated by a deacon. You can choose the time that is available.
To reserve the parish, you should begin the process 6 months prior to the date on which you plan to have the quinceañera celebration. It is necessary to make the reservation in the Parish Office (in person, during business hours).
Contribution: The contribution is $250; a deposit of $100 must be paid to the Secretary when you set the date. The payment should be made in cash, check, or Money Order. The balance of $200 must be paid 4 weeks prior to the celebration. You will lose your date if it is not paid on time.
The deposit is non-refundable if you decide to cancel the celebration for any reason.
The contribution does not include decorations or music.
Interview: Call the Office to make an appointment with the priest before you set the date (the parents & quinceañera should attend); at the appointment the mass will be planned and a brief formation will be given.
Rehearsal: A coordinator will call you one week before the quinceañera to schedule a rehearsal. Please be Punctual and respectful. You are asked to arrive on time and show the necessary courtesy throughout the rehearsal both to the coordinator and the temple. No one is allowed in the sacristy.
Photographs: You are allowed to take pictures or video in the church before, during, and after the ceremony, as long as there is nothing else scheduled. The photographer is not allowed to step onto the altar or get to close to the priest. Please let the photographer know.
Proper Attire: Let's not forget that the Church is the House of God and we must dress appropriately. You must wear a shawl or jacket over a strapless dress or a dress with thin straps.
Music: You must select appropriate religious music. The financial arrangements for the music must be made directly with the musicians.
Flowers: Remember that flowers and decorations are not included. The church can be decorated as long as nothing is taped or nailed onto the walls or pews. We ask that you leave the church clean after the ceremony. The parish is not responsible for items left in the church.
It is your responsibility to advise the parish office of any changes, especially your phone number.
